Gustav Klimt featuring this cat.
Klimt is my favorite symbolist painter. Secession is close to my heart, since the building in my hometown were built in that style, also, my favorite writers and poets, photographers and painters lived through that era. I love the gold details in Klimt’s art, they give a new tone to the things he wants to express. For example, in the painting ” Danae ”, the gold paint reflect the woman’s orgasm. The painting in the link is called ” Judith ”. It shows the ideal woman in that time. An evil, thin, almost sick looking woman. Cigarettes, melancholy and Absinthe.
Utopia
You ought to think, that after watching ‘Birds’ by Alfred Hitchcock ( brilliant movie by the way ), you will get just a little bit scared of birds. I actually began to saw beauty in them, especially after reading and analysing ‘ The Raven ‘ by Edgar Allan Poe.
This photo just blew my mind.
